If we intend to have something to retire on, we had better build it ourselves. Let us look at a few ways to build a solid nest egg for the future.

Most of us work very diligently for most of our lives so that we can retire at a reasonable age. We look forward to sitting in the lap of luxury, no money problems, everything in order, vacations and other distractions whenever we wish. Other folks dream of world tours, exotic trips, even second careers. While all of this sounds enticing, we must never lose sight of the fact that we must, at some time, actually take retirement.
