Music has been part of man’s existance since the earliest of times. It entertains, informs, and communicates for us on a number of levels. As an indicator of the health of society, music is one of the best ways to judge how we are doing with our lives.

There is nothing more rewarding than being in the company of friends. They support us, they nurture us, and they protect us. Think of those times when there was no one to talk to of your day; when you were on a trip, by yourself, and there was no one to point the way to the next rest stop. We can never have too many friends.

Finding Work

Are you unemployed? Finding a job these days is really tough for a number of reasons. First, there are fewer jobs available; second, there are more people looking for work; and third, the government is working against you. You have to be more clever these days and you have to have a completely new set of rules if you want to get a job.

A savings plan used to be just about money. You put a certain amount into a savings plan each week, and after a while, you had quite a nest egg. These days we need to think differently. Now a savings plan must include everything that is of value to us. Our home, vehicles, family members, goals, dreams, and anything else that we want to preserve must be included in our plan.

Saving stuff in the attic or basement for decades seems to be everyone’s unofficial pastime. If the attic gets full, not to worry, because the garage is always the next handy place to put stuff. The car likes to be outside anyway. We get so attached to our stuff that getting rid of it, even after many decades of dust have settled, is a tough job.
