Exercise to Save Money
Posted by Dr. Richard F Marsella on November 2nd, 2009
It may seem that doing a few push-ups and walking around the block is a strange way to save money, but it works in ways that you may never have thought about. Exercising on a regular basis will keep a person healthy. Healthy people rarely need the services of a doctor. Just think of all the money that people spend on doctor visits and drugstores to get an idea of how much can be saved.
Exercising is fun and it is easy to do. A few simple exercises, performed on a daily basis, are all that is needed to stay healthy. The best exercise to do everyday is walking. If you can walk briskly for about twenty minutes each day you will feel great and it is free. Next, stretch all your muscles. There are many good magazine and book articles showing how to stretch the body’s muscles. This should take no more than ten minutes a day. Again, there is no money spent for this relaxing and energizing activity. The result of this daily walking and stretching routine will be a healthier you. You will feel better and less stressed and you will have spent nothing. Exercise instead of spending all your money on unnecessary doctor visits and pills.
